The Mid-Term Review (MTR) Mission of the Smallholder Agribusiness and Resilience Project (SARP) was conducted in Sri Lanka from 17 to 26 November 2025.
The mission team comprised Sherina Tabassum, Anura Herath, Ayurzana Puntsagdavaa, Gamini Hittinayake, Dan Martin, Gitika Goswami, Dipak Sah, Nirajan Khadka, Kassapa Gamlath, Prabuddha Boralugoda, Mariel Zimmerman, and Bodhi Wanniarchchi.
During the mission, the team visited the districts of Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Vavuniya, and Matale to review the progress of project implementation. The delegation met with beneficiaries to gain firsthand insights into the impact of project interventions at the field level. They also engaged with key stakeholders to assess achievements, challenges, and opportunities for further strengthening project outcomes.
In addition, several meetings were held with SARP staff and government officials to discuss implementation progress, financial performance, value chain development, and institutional coordination. The mission provided an important platform to reflect on lessons learned and to identify strategic directions for the remaining implementation period.
