The Midline Survey of the Smallholder Agribusiness and Resilience Project (SARP) has been successfully completed, with the final draft report reviewed and validated at a workshop held on 29 December 2025 at Monarch Imperial.
Collaborative Review and Validation
The workshop was organized by the Monitoring and Evaluation Division of SARP in collaboration with TEAMS Consultants in Development, the consulting firm that conducted the survey.
The primary objective of the session was to:
-
Review the key findings of the midline survey
-
Validate results through stakeholder engagement
-
Obtain inputs and recommendations prior to finalization of the report
This structured validation process ensured transparency, accuracy, and alignment with field realities.
Strong Stakeholder Participation
The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including the Project Director, Deputy Project Director, project specialists, area coordinators, PMU staff, and representatives from partner institutions.
Participants engaged in constructive discussions focusing on:
-
Progress achieved during the first three years of implementation
-
Performance against project indicators
-
Operational challenges identified through the survey
-
Opportunities for improvement in the remaining implementation period
Strengthening Evidence-Based Implementation
The validated midline survey findings will serve as a critical reference point for the next phase of project implementation. The results will guide evidence-based decision-making, improve targeting and efficiency, and enhance overall effectiveness as SARP progresses toward its objectives.
This milestone reflects SARP’s continued commitment to accountability, learning, and adaptive management—ensuring that project interventions deliver meaningful and sustainable impact for smallholder beneficiaries across Sri Lanka.
