On January 31, 2025, a key strategic meeting was successfully held to enhance the implementation of the Smallholder Agribusiness and Resilience Project (SARP) and align it with the Department of Agriculture’s annual priorities for 2025.
The discussion brought together senior officials from the Department of Agriculture to finalize the annual work plan for the upcoming Yala 2025 and Maha 2025/2026 seasons. Key agenda items included rescheduling SARP activities to better align with the Department’s 4P (Public-Private-Producer Partnership) approach and youth empowerment initiatives.
SARP extends its sincere appreciation to the Director General of Agriculture, the SARP Project Director, and all participating senior officers for their valuable contributions. Their collaboration ensures meaningful progress toward our shared goals of strengthening agricultural resilience, empowering smallholders, and building sustainable rural livelihoods.
