Enhancing Value Addition through Farmer Field School: Post-Harvest Training under SARP

FFS and FBS
All Districts

The Farmer Field School (FFS) program is a key initiative under the Smallholder Agribusiness and Resilience Project (SARP), aimed at strengthening the skills and capacities of farmers. As part of this program, a dedicated session on Post-Harvest Training was conducted, focusing on value addition in agriculture.

This training session was designed to enhance farmers’ knowledge and practical skills in processing and preserving their harvest. Participants gained hands-on experience in producing peanut butter and preparing a variety of value-added products. These skills not only help reduce post-harvest losses but also open up new income-generating opportunities, contributing to improved livelihoods and greater resilience in farming communities.
